She was not there. Sharon had some pictures of friends and family affixed to the side of her file cabinet with magnets. Roger took them down and used the magnets to post the card where Sharon would see it.
Roger dropped the pictures on the floor and walked back to his desk.
After considering it for a few minutes, Roger walked back to Sharon's desk and wrote a note for her: "See card -->" and carefully placed it so that the arrow indicated the correct direction of the card he had left her.
